Whale Sharks in 60ft!!!!

We have been seeing a few whale sharks as shallow as 60 ft off Johns pass. The water temps are now in the 70's in 50ft and a little colder the deeper you go. Visibility varies depending what part of the county you are in. Off John's pass we have had roughly 25-40 ft of vis and the further north you go the better; With vis being 60+ off Tarpon springs. There has been more fish life in 35-50ft than anywhere else along with alot of pesky Gag grouper. The season will open up in September for those. There are slipper lobster this time of year out on all of the hard bottom. Good luck to all the guys fishing KOB next weekend we hope you hang the big one and will see you out there Thursday night.
